Citrine and Smoke began as more than just a shop — it was born from a personal journey, shaped by love, challenge, and a deep need for something grounding.

As a mum to a little boy with complex health needs, life has often felt like navigating shifting ground. Starting this business became a way to create something that could support us both — something rooted in beauty, care, and intention.

Crystals spoke to me not through trends or labels, but through their story. Every line, fracture, inclusion, or shimmer tells you what that crystal has survived. What it has endured. Crystals don’t hide their history, they wear it, and it’s part of what makes them extraordinary.

That’s what Citrine and Smoke is all about. Each piece is selected not just for how it looks, but for what it carries. For the millions of years of pressure, movement, and time it took to form. There’s something deeply powerful in that, something I hope others feel too.

I handle everything myself, from consciously sourcing each piece, to photographing and wrapping them, to handwriting scrolls and finding ways to make each order feel personal. Wherever possible, I reuse packaging and minimise waste, because I believe in respect, for the crystals, for the world they come from, and for the people who receive them.
